Watec EIA Camera Monochrome High Resolution WAT-902B
The Watec WAT-902B is a compact, lightweight monochrome (black & white) CCTV/industrial camera. It uses a ½-inch interline transfer CCD sensor and is designed for high sensitivity and low-noise performance, especially in difficult lighting conditions. Its form-factor and internal feature set make it suited for mounting in tight spaces, inspection lines, production-monitoring, or other scenarios where a small robust camera is needed rather than a full multi-megapixel color camera.
Some of the notable features of the WAT-902B include:
½-inch interline transfer CCD sensor (monochrome) for high sensitivity.
Effective pixel count (EIA version): 768 (H) × 494 (V). (CCIR/PAL version: 752 × 582)
Horizontal (video) resolution: approximately 570 TV lines at center.
Ultra low light capability: minimum illumination as low as 0.003 lux at F1.4 when AGC (auto gain) high.
Internal 2:1 interlace scanning system with EIA (NTSC) or CCIR (PAL) variants.
Video output: Composite video out (1 Vp-p, 75Ω) via the video out connector.
Lens mount: CS-mount (with optional C-mount adaptor) so a wide selection of lenses can be used.
On-board controls/functions: electronic shutter (auto/manual: e.g., 1/60 s, 1/100,000 s etc), auto iris socket (for use with auto-iris lenses), Back Light Compensation (BLC) ON/OFF, AGC (auto gain) with HI/LO/Off settings, gamma correction settings.
Power and mechanical: Rated for DC +12 V (±10 %) input, compact size ~35.5 × 36 × 58 mm (W×H×L) and weight approx ~84-90 g depending on variant.
