- Poe—up To 15.4w Of Power At -48vdc Can Be Provided Simultaneously Over Every Port With Standard Category 5 Utp Cable Up To 100 Meters.

- Power Management—using The Static Port Command, The Cisco Catalyst 4500 Series Allows Users To Override Both Cisco Discovery Protocol And Ieee Signaling To Reserve Power On A Per-port Basis, Even When A Powered Device Is Not Connected. This Setup Allows Network Administrators To Ensure That Wireless Base Stations, Executive Offices, And Other Areas With Business-critical Ports Have Priority For Available Power.
