The Vertiv Avocent Matrix MXR 5110 receiver is a component of the Vertiv Avocent Matrix High Performance KVM switching system that operates with receivers and transmitters to provide a fully digital matrix switching solution. A proprietary single switch or network of switches provides the distribution of data streams between transmitters and receivers, connected via a single shielded twisted pair (STP) CAT 5e/6 cable. The system provides real-time switching between keyboard, video and mouse (KVM) and USB peripherals from a target computer. The system may be used with devices intended to address digital signage and Pro A/V to deliver an enhanced digital matrix switching solution for applications such as broadcast, post-production and control centers in a broad range of applications. The Vertiv Avocent Matrix MXR 5110 receiver provides one network interface, six USB interfaces and one DVI-I interface for video resolution up to 1920x1200. It also includes the Vertiv Avocent PSC004 Receiver and High Density Transmitter Mount Power Supply.
