Product Description

The IBM 46C5379 RDX 500GB cartridge is a removable hard disk storage medium designed for use with IBM RDX docking stations in servers and workstations. RDX technology combines the random-access speed of hard drives with the portability and durability of tape backup media, making it suitable for backup, archiving, and off-site data storage.

Each cartridge contains a ruggedized 2.5-inch SATA hard disk enclosed in a protective cartridge, allowing it to be easily inserted or removed from an RDX dock without exposing the disk mechanism.
